User Guide to the Water Quality Database Website

 

Welcome to the Water Quality Database (WQDB) Website.  This website gives you real-time access to data stored in the database via reports that you can customize.  This guide explains how to use the website.  Click here for instructions on accessing the WQDB using Oracle Discoverer. WQDB Home Page – this is the main interface for WQDB Website.  From this page, you can run a wide variety of reports.

 

 

 

 

Selecting a Report – the frame on the left hand side of the page lists your report options by category.  Click on a category heading to see a listing of the individual reports that are available within that category.  Then click on the name of the individual report that you wish to run.

Report Parameter Form – most WQDB reports are parameterized so that you can customize your data request.  This is an example of a parameter form.  Complete this form as desired, and click the “Submit Query” button at the top of the frame to run your report.  Please note the default value “HTML” in the parameter “Report Format”.  Read more about this in the Report Format section.

 

 

 

 

Report Format – the “Report Format” parameter defaults to “HTML” so that you report results will appear on screen in HTML format as shown here.  You have three options for report formatting.  Select the format you prefer using “Report Format” parameter.  Examples of the three report formats are shown here:
